Boardcast is operated independently and accessible at boardcast.app. For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, Boardcast is the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with your use of the Service.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.
Where UK GDPR applies, we process data on the following legal bases:
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. The Service is hosted on Hetzner Cloud infrastructure located in the European Union. Hetzner processes server data as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
We may disclose data if required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid legal request from a law enforcement authority.
Boardcast is designed to share content between devices. The session URL is the only access control — anyone with the URL can read and edit the session. You should treat a Boardcast session as a shared, semi-public space.
Do not paste personally identifiable information, passwords, financial data, health information, or confidential business data into a Boardcast session. We are not responsible for the exposure of content that you choose to share via the Service.
Boardcast does not use cookies of any kind — not session cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because no cookies are set.
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to any personal data we hold about you:
In practice, because we do not collect identifying information, it may not be possible for us to locate data relating to a specific individual. To exercise your rights, please contact us at boardcast.app.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
All data transmitted to and from Boardcast is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS). Session content is held in server memory and is not written to persistent storage. The server infrastructure is maintained with current security patches and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Boardcast is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service to share personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
