Do I need an account to use Boardcast?
No. Free sessions work instantly with no sign-up. You only need an account for Pro or Team features like persistent sessions and custom URLs.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is paid upfront for the year and saves you 33% compared to monthly. Pro works out at £1.33/month (£16/yr) and Team at £4/month (£48/yr). You can switch between billing periods when you manage your subscription.
What happens to my sessions if I cancel?
Your account moves to the Free plan. Named sessions are retained for 7 days after cancellation, giving you time to copy anything you need. After that they'll follow the free session rules — 2 hours of inactivity before expiry.
Can I upgrade from Pro to Team later?
Yes — just manage your subscription from your account page and switch plans at any time. Billing is prorated automatically.
Is payment secure?
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Boardcast never sees or stores your card details.
What's the refund policy?
